Pax Boosts Affiliate Team

Looking to lift its penetration and improve placement within the cable
sphere, Paxson Communications Corp. has hired a pair of industry veterans to
oversee distribution divisions.

Argie Frudakis has been appointed regional director, cable distribution, West
division, while Joel Genove is now regional director for the company's Northeast
division. In their new posts, Frudakis and Genove are charged with launching Pax
TV on new cable systems and improving the network's channel position.

Frudakis was most recently manger, Western region affiliate sales and
marketing for Fox Family Channel in Los Angeles, where she managed sales,
marketing and value-building activities in a seven-state territory.

Prior to joining Paxson, Genove was director of field marketing for the
Eastern and central regions of The Box Music Network.

Family-friendly programmer Pax TV currently reaches 82 percent of U.S. TV
households via, broadcast, cable and satellite distribution systems.

Paxson owns and operates 65 stations, 50 of which operate under joint-sales
agreements with stations -- largely NBC outlets -- in their
markets.
