Outdoor, Shockey Set to Explore 'Uncharted' Areas

Outdoor Channel next month will bow a new show with veteran outdoorsman Jim Shockey, who will take viewers with him to some of the most remote parts of the globe..

Jim Shockey’s Uncharted will bow on Wednesday, July 2 at 7 p.m. (ET), as part of the network’s summer lineup. Over the course of his life and career, Shockey has served as wildlife photographer/videographer, a wilderness guide and outfitter.

Produced by Shockey’s son Branlin, who captures both the beauty and rigorous surroundings on video, Uncharted offers audiences a glimpse into the excitement of hunts across faraway locations, such as the mountain ranges of Kyrgystan. The physical agility and mental dexterity of Shockey and his fellow thrill-seeking traveler, Corey Knowlton, are put to the test as they tackle elements of risk on their journeys through Papua New Guinea, the Arctic, the Northwest Rainforests of Canada, and beyond.
