Oceanic Time Warner Cable will use Optinel Systems’ "PLEXiS MFX" transport platform on Hawaii’s island of Oahu, the vendor announced Wednesday.
The PLEXiS system can support more than 80,000 video streams per fiber over distances of greater than 500 kilometers.
