N.Y. Group Has New Name, Board

The New York cable trade association is dropping a "T" from its name.

The board of the Cable Television and Telecommunications Association of New
York voted this week to streamline its name to the Cable Telecommunications
Association of New York.

The group also approved a new slate of officers: chairman Mary Cotter,
president of Time Warner Cable's Syracuse division; vice president Barry
Rosenblum, president of Time Warner Cable New York City; secretary/treasurer
James Reynolds, president of Mid-Hudson Cablevision Inc.; and immediate past
chairman Sheila Mahony, executive VP, communications, government and public
affairs at Cablevision Systems Corp.

The directors are Thomas Haywood, VP of operations, Great Lakes region,
Adelphia Communications Corp.; Stephen Pagano, president, Time Warner Cable
Albany division; Tim Rooney, area VP, Cablevision; and Lisa Rosenblum, senior
VP, government affairs and education, Cablevision.

Associate members on the board are Chris Lonergan, senior VP, Discovery
Networks U.S.; Michael McCarthy, executive VP, Madison Square Garden Networks;
John Davis, president, Universal Remote Control Inc.; and Georgi Rosenberg,
regional manager, affiliate sales, Outdoor Life Network.
