Nortel Names Three Senior Execs

Nortel Networks Corp. reorganized its senior management, the vendor announced Friday.

President and CEO Bill Owens was named vice chairman and CEO.

Gary Daichendt has joined Nortel as president and chief operating officer. Daichendt had been executive vice president of worldwide operations at Cisco Systems Inc.

And chief financial officer Peter Currie adds the title of executive VP.
