Nickelodeon Wednesday named Jim Perry senior vice president of ad sales.
Executive VP and general sales manager Sue Danaher -- who oversees not only
MTV Networks' Nick, but also Nick at Nite, TV Land and TNN: The National Network
-- said Perry will oversee the recently formed Nick ad-sales team.
She added, 'We've created an entirely distinct kid-focused sales group for
Nickelodeon for the first time.'
As part of the Nick sales reorganization in New York,
new-business-development staffer Jim Tricarico has become director of New York
ad sales; account executive Peter Cosco has been named director of Nick business
development; and Nickelodeon Online ad-sales promotion VP Sharon Cohen has
become VP of Nick ad-sales integrated solutions.
Perry -- previously VP of Nickelodeon new-business development and an 11-year
MTVN sales veteran -- will assume some of the duties of Sam Moser, who last
month became Dallas-based VP of Western/Southwestern ad sales for Game Show
