Cable Television Laboratories Inc. announced several organizational changes Wednesday.
David Reed has been promoted to executive vice president, chief strategy officer.
The cable-industry research-and-development group’s PacketCable department has been renamed Advanced Network Systems, and Ed Miller has been promoted to VP of that unit.
Glenn Russell, who had led CableLabs’ PacketCable efforts, was named director, multimedia applications.
Finally, Go2Broadband will leave CableLabs’ strategic-assessment department, and VP Jenifer Cistola will now report to CableLabs chief operating officer Chris Lammers.
