NBCUniversal has promoted Anand Kini to the role of Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Insights. Kini, who has served as NBCUniversal’s Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Development since July 2011, will assume responsibility for data-driven consumer and business insights.
“Anand has a strong analytical mind and an excellent command of the rapidly changing marketplace. Having Anand oversee business insights along with strategy will allow us to better evaluate the complicated issues facing our industry and help us capitalize on opportunities for the entire company,” said Steve Burke, CEO, NBCUniversal.
In his new position, Anand will report directly to Burke.
