NBC Universal promoted Salil Dalvi to senior vice president of mobile platform development, overseeing mobile content growth strategy, product development and operations.
Previously, Dalvi was general manager of the wireless platforms division.
"Salil's deep knowledge of the wireless landscape and his strong business background make him a tremendous asset to our digital distribution team,” JB Perrette, president of NBCU Digital Distribution, said in a statement.
Dalvi, who joined NBC in 1998, will continue to report to Perrette and remain based in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.
