NBC Cable Launches Tax-Tips Promo

NBC Cable kicked off its ninth-annual "CNBC Tax Tips" local-ad-sales promotion, sending MSOs eight 30-second taggable spots that give tax advice to viewers.

Operators can sell the spots -- which are narrated by CNBC anchor Ted David -- to local advertisers.

CNBC said the tax-tips topics include information on charitable contributions, alimony, tax-free mutual bonds and joint returns.
