The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications will celebrate its 25th anniversary May 17.
The group will also honor “2005 Paragon Award” recipient Tina Waters, vice president of customer-service operations at Comcast Cable Communications Inc., at a cocktail reception at Twenty21 in Philadelphia at 5:30 p.m. that day.
NAMIC said the Paragon Award was created in 2003 to honor a local NAMIC Philadelphia member for their commitment to multiethnic diversity in their organization and in the Philadelphia chapter.
Article continues belowThe local chapter will also introduce its 2005 board of directors: president LaReita Hunter of QVC Inc.; VP Paul Siles of Comcast; secretary Lea Satterfield of Comcast; treasurer J.R. Harvey of Time Warner Cable; communications chair Renee Hauch of Carlsen Resources Inc.; and financial-affairs chair Marcus James of Motorola Inc.
