MTV: Music Television assigned Gideon Yago -- the young reporter it sent to
Kuwait before war broke in Iraq -- to interview Ozzy Osbourne’s son, Jack, about
his OxyContin addiction.
MTV managed to turn Jack Osbourne’s drug addiction into a programming stunt,
which it will call "True Life: I’m Hooked on OxyContin."
OxyContin is a narcotic drug approved for the treatment of moderate to severe
pain.
MTV sent Yago to Kuwait in February to interview troops and young Kuwaitis
for its "MTV Daily News" packages and True Life series.
