Microsoft Corp.’s new "MSN Video" service now boasts free, exclusive broadband content from (, Microsoft said Thursday.

MSN Video users can now view breaking news and top stories on-demand, with the ability to build playlists, all free-of-charge.

"We've seen for years that people looking for news want to see images," president and general manager Scott Moore said in a release.

"Whether it's video of a bearded Saddam Hussein, a Today show concert or updates from the presidential campaign, is committed to keeping news video free on the Web," he added.
