MSNBC Launches 15-Second Daily Video Series

Building upon the recent partnership between NBCUniversal News Group and NowThis News, MSNBC and NowThis News will co-produce a new 15-second daily video series entitled 15 Seconds to Truth

The series, which launches today on MSNBC, Facebook and Twitter, will feature short videos covering the day’s biggest headlines. The short video news pieces are scheduled to air during transitions in and out of commercial breaks on the network, as well as on various digital platforms. The first installment of the series, which covers Italy's youth rally against austerity, is currently available for streaming on MSNBC.

“MSNBC viewers want honest and informed perspectives that explore the often overlooked angles of important stories. With this new series we aim to continue delivering that unique vantage point in a visually gripping way, on-air and on mobile and social platforms,” Phil Griffin, President of MSNBC, said in a release.
