Mr. Big Is TNT's Bad Apple

Mr. Big is rotten to the core.

No, we're not talking about actor Chris Noth's character's treatment of Sarah
Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw character on Home Box Office's Sex and the
City
.

Rather, Noth -- also known for his stage turns and as detective Mike Logan on
Law & Order -- will star in and executive-produce original film
Bad Apple, in which he will portray FBI agent Mike Torzi.

Turner Network Television executives said the film could premiere as early as
next summer.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Anthony Bruno, and it
could represent the springboard to a series of movies, adapted from Bruno's
Bad books, which will star Noth.

TNT officials said there is potential for up to three films in the first
year, as well as an option for additional years.

Noth will also be seen as Roman General Pompey in TNT original miniseries
Caesar,which will bow in 2004.
