Modulus Video Inc. has raised $10 million in a series-B funding round led by Thomas Weisel Venture Partners, with participation from Trinity Ventures.
Modulus is building next-generation encoding equipment built around the MPEG-4 (Moving Picture Expert Group) standard. MPEG-4 reduces the bandwidth needs of service providers using that format.
