The city of Windom, Minn., will use ETI Software Solutions Inc. software to provision new premium telecommunication services to its subscribers.
ETI develops software that automates fiber-to-the-home and video-service activation for video, telephony and data services.
Windom selected ETI's flagship product, “CableBridge,” to serve as the master-controller to simultaneously provision voice, video, video-on-demand and data services over the city's FTTH network.
ETI's platform will also bridge Windom's billing and customer-care system to the FTTH network and multiple broadband technologies, enabling it to automatically activate the fiber gateway at the home, set the appropriate high-speed-data rate and activate the set-top box with the appropriate channels based on packages or services ordered by the subscriber.
With CableBridge, Windom's customers will receive one unified bill itemizing all services, including pay-per-view purchases.
