Millennials love OTT, and apparently they are also gravitating to Netflix originals such as House of Cards and Stranger Things.
In a survey of 820 millennials from LendEDU asking which provider offered the best original content, an overwhelming 79% picked Netflix.
That’s compared to 14% who voted for “premium” channels such as HBO, Showtime and Starz, 4% for Hulu and 3% for Amazon Prime.
Among other findings, 17% of millennials men were more likely to cast a vote for premium channels, compared to 8% among millennial women.
LendEDU said it polled those millennials (using online polling company Whatsgoodly) from July 6 to Aug. 24.
