Lifetime Movie Network said Tuesday that it has reached 40 million subscribers.
The Lifetime Television spinoff, which launched in 1998, is a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week ad-supported channel that airs contemporary films for and about women including made-for-television movies, miniseries, selected theatrical films and independent-film acquisitions.
