Keith Fawcett, 50, director of research at Merrill Lynch & Co.'s media and entertainment Group, died Monday after a long illness, the investment bank said.
Before coming to Merrill Lynch, Fawcett had served as assistant treasurer at CBS.
He was married with three children.
