McConaughey to Be Voice of OLN

Cable News Network has James Earl Jones as its omnipresent 24/7
identification. Soon, Outdoor Life Network, as part of an on-air look redesign,
will have its in actor Matthew McConaughey.

The co-star of Lone Star, Ed TV and How to Lose a Guy in 10
Days
will mouth a set of new OLN channel bumpers, which, along with the rest
of the graphic redesign, will be introduced over the next few months.

Ironically, the assignment for McConaughey came before he moves ahead with
Dear Deliah, where he plays cable-show producer by day, female advice
columnist for America at night.

"He's a big fan of the programming on the network," OLN president and CEO
Roger Williams said in a prepared statement. "So he's the perfect person to
represent OLN to fellow viewers."

OLN will keep a leaf and its acronym around in the
redesign.
