Venture capitalist David Lockwood will be the next chairman and CEO of
middleware provider Liberate Technologies, replacing Mitchell Kertzman, who'll
remain a director.
Kertzman announced plans to step down last August.
Lockwood's last gig was CEO at InterTrust Technologies Corp, which he
restructured and sold to investors including Sony Corp. and Royal Philips
Electronics N.V.
