Consumers looking for updates on Hurricane Lili as it threatened the Gulf
Coast consulted The Weather Channel's Web site (www.weather.com) so much that it broke
previous page-view records, weather.com announced Thursday.
On Wednesday, weather.com generated 39.5 million page views via 3.7 million
visitors, topping the previous record of 37 million set one week ago when
Tropical Storm Isidore also bore down on the Gulf Coast.
