Lifetime Inks Broadcast Veteran

Lifetime Television announced Monday that veteran television executive Alan
Sternfeld will join the network as senior vice president of planning, scheduling
and acquisitions for Lifetime Entertainment Services.

Sternfeld, who will report to Lifetime executive vice president of
entertainment Dawn Tarnofsky-Ostroff, will oversee scheduling and acquisitions
for Lifetime.

Sternfeld is a 20-year programming veteran, having held senior
programming-executive positions at NBC Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Co. and
ABC Entertainment. During his tenure at the broadcast networks, he solidified
his expertise in the areas of film acquisitions, production development,
filmmaker relations, primetime scheduling and program-planning strategies,
according to Lifetime.

'We are thrilled to have Alan join the Lifetime team,' Tarnofsky-Ostroff said
in a prepared statement. 'His extensive broadcast background will be a
tremendous asset to us as we continue our record ratings performance and expand
our programming with more networks.'
