LEGO, Cartoon Set Scooby-Doo Promo

The LEGO Group and Cartoon Network announced Monday that they have teamed
up for a promotional tie-in to Warner Bros.' new live-action Scooby-Doo motion picture, due for theatrical release
in spring 2002.

The 'Scooby-Doo and the MovieMaker Too' push marks the fourth year in which
the two companies have partnered on a Halloween-linked promotion.

Due to be promoted both via Cartoon's cable network and
Web site, the
promotion will award more than 50 LEGO 'Steven Spielberg MovieMaker Sets' and
250 LEGO 'MovieMaker Backdrop Studio Sets.'

The grand prize will be a private screening of the upcoming movie, as well as a Scooby-Doo figure made entirely from LEGO building
blocks and four related 24-inch custom character figures.

To enter the contest, viewers must watch the network's weekend primetime
presentations of Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island Oct. 20 or Scooby-Doo and
the Alien Invaders
Oct. 27. Twice during each special, Cartoon will run a
15-second 'call now' spot with the 800 telephone number.

Online users, meanwhile, can register their
electronic-mail address on the Scooby-Doo home page Oct. 15
through 29 for a chance at a separate online prize-package drawing.
