The National Association of Latino Independent Producers has set its fourth
annual conference Nov. 7 through 10 in San Antonio.
The 400-member NALIP, based in Santa Monica, Calif., said the conference will
be themed, 'Taking the Next Steps,' as it offers strategies for increasing
Hispanic involvement in the mass media.
Edward James Olmos (PBS' American Family); Tony Plana and Jesus
Trevino (Showtime's Resurrection Blvd.); and Diego Luna (the film Y Tu
Mama Tambien) will be among the confab's participants.
