‘Larrymania’ Will Reign Again on NBC Universo

The man known in Spanish as “the friend to all” is once again opening the curtain into his personal life.

Los Angeles-born regional Mexican music star Larry Hernandez is back for the fourth season of the popular reality program Larrymania, which debuted June 14 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) slot on NBC Universo. Larrymania is one of the few holdover shows from NBC Universo’s previous incarnation, mun2.

The unscripted Larrymania offers a behind-the-scenes look at the life of what NBC Universo calls “an unstoppable artist with no filter” that gives viewers the opportunity to get to know the singer, composer and producer.

“I feel blessed and grateful for the audience’s love,” Hernandez said. “I owe the success of Larrymania to my millions of fans who have tuned in to watch since its first season, and the constant support of my family — my motivation in life. Larrymania offers a genuine view into my life that’s very real and unscripted. It’s what my fans deserve, and honesty is what people love.”

The fourth season’s highlights include a family visit to Estación Obispo Pueblos Unidos in Sinaloa, México, the town where Hernandez was raised, and a family trip to Europe. Backstage scenes prior to a performance of new songs from his current album, Vete Acostumbrando, will also be featured.

“We’ve documented Larry’s personal growth and captured exclusive moments with his family,” said Gloria Medel Salomons, an executive producer at NBC Universo. “On- and off-stage, Larry is the same person. Spontaneity and authenticity are key elements that consistently have drawn in his fans, and maintained Larrymania as a [leading] show.”

Full episodes of the first three seasons of Larrymania are available on nbcuniverso.com and on the NBC Universo NOW App, as well as on video-on-demand for participating services.

Larrymania is co-produced by JK Film and TV Productions.
