Koonin Ups Three at Turner

Turner Network Television and TBS Superstation chief operating officer Steve
Koonin gave cross-network responsibilities to three newly promoted senior vice
presidents.

Ken Schwab was named senior VP of programming for the two channels, a new
position. He had been senior VP of programming, acquisitions and new media for
TNT.

In his new role, he oversees TBS senior VP of programming Bill Cox and TNT VP
of programming Phil Oppenheim. Cox gained oversight of the TBS Public Affairs
group, run by Michael Watchulonis.

Also, Jennifer Dorian was named senior VP of branding and business
development for the two networks. She had been VP of brand marketing for TNT.
TBS VP of branding Molly Battin now reports to Dorian.

And Laura Dames was named senior VP of marketing operations for the two
networks. She had been VP of marketing operations at TNT. Reporting to her are
marketing executives at TBS Superstation (Julie Crow) and TNT (Nicole
Lucas).

All three report to Koonin, an executive VP under whom the two networks were
united in April.

These changes are part of finding ways to better define the Superstation
brand and to leverage programming assets, Turner said.
