Kelly McAndrew, a communications executive most recently with Cablevision Systems, has been named vice president of global public affairs at Xylem, a global water technology company based in Rye Brook, N.Y.
McAndrew, who reports to Xylem SVP and chief communications officer Angela Buonocore, will oversee the company’s global external communications efforts in support of its corporate strategy, financial performance and key corporate issues.
McAndrew most recently served as VP, corporate communications at Cablevision Systems, and, before that, was SVP, corporate communications at Viacom. From 2000 to 2007, she oversaw global public and media relations activities for The Pepsi Bottling Group.
“Kelly is a seasoned corporate communications executive with a proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic communications plans,” said Buonocore, in a statement. “We look forward to Kelly’s leadership in continuing to build the Xylem brand and sharing the company’s results and progress with key external constituencies.”
Xylem generated $3.8 billion in revenues in 2013, and has more than 12,500 employees worldwide.
