Kasenna Inc. introduced its "vForge" video-service-development and deployment framework Monday.
The vForge framework uses Web-services tools to simplify the integration of video-network-system components -- including set-top boxes, middleware, servers and billing systems -- into complete on-demand services.
"vForge is like a video-services operating system -- it's the unifying development framework for building standards-based broadband-video services," Kasenna CEO Mark Gray said in a prepared statement.
