NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin officially will join NFL Network's crew Sept. 13.
The five-time Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowler is set to become part of its expanded Sunday program NFL GameDay, kicking off with the league's opening weekend, starting Sept. 13.
"The Playmaker," who had served as an ESPN analyst from 2003-2007, hosted a reality competition show on Spike TV show 4th and Long earlier this year. Irvin got his cleats wet as a guest analyst on NFL Network's coverage of the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony earlier this month.
Former WNBAer Stacey Dales, an analyst and reporter for ESPN and ABC, is also joining the NFL Network, where she will serve as co-host of NFL GameDay Morning. With two additional hours, the will air from 9 a..m. to 1 p.m. at the network's studios in Los Angeles.
