Bravo Networks announced the formation of a dedicated consumer-marketing team
for The Independent Film Channel Thursday.
Jeff Jackson will head the new team from the new position of director of
strategic partnerships. He reports to Bravo senior vice president of marketing
and public relations Caroline Bock, who cited IFC's rapid growth as the reason
for the move.
Jackson -- previously vice president of ARTISTdirect Inc., whose career has
included earlier stints with Seventeen magazine and Atlantic Records --
will oversee IFC's marketing, promotional and corporate-sponsorship
In addition, he will further develop IFCRant -- the bimonthly
'film-fanatic' magazine co-venture of IFC and indieWIRE LLC -- and manage IFC's
current and future strategic theater partnerships.
IFC brand manager Heather Smith and consumer-marketing supervisor Nancy
Hennings now report to Jackson.
