HSAC Closes DealOn Digital Chainsaw

Littleton, Colo.-High Speed Access Corp. closed on its acquisition of Digital Chainsaw, a Florida-based Web hosting and systems integration company which does business as NetPerformance.NetPerformance, which has about 80 employees in St. Petersburg, Fla., expects to post pro forma revenue of about $3 million in 2000. HSA paid about 3 million shares of stock; NetPerformance can earn more shares by hitting performance targets over the next year. The acquisition should enhance HSA's services to commercial customers, and will make HSA a one-stop provider of high-speed connectivity; Web design and hosting; and integrated services.
