Hart Out at Charter

Wes Hart has resigned as Charter Communications Inc.'s vice president of ad
sales, a spokesman confirmed Thursday.

MSO spokesman Andy Morgan said, 'The resignation was a mutual decision by Wes
and Charter.'

Corporate ad-sales director Dave Downey has been named Hart's interim
successor.

Interestingly, Hart was among the board members at Adlink, which is now
charged with seeking Charlie Thurston's replacement as president and CEO.

Thurston is headed for Comcast Cable Communications Inc. in the newly created
position of president of ad sales. Word had leaked out on that announcement
Wednesday, but Comcast Corp. did not officially announce Thurston's appointment
until Thursday afternoon.

In a prepared statement, Comcast Cable president Steve Burke described
Thurston as 'uniquely qualified' to lead Comcast, 'one of the best clustered
cable companies in the country.'

Comcast has 8.4 million cable subscribers.
