Game Show Network announced Friday that it has slated a weekly "Watch
& Play" interactive sweepstakes that'll offer $100,000-plus in prizes to be
awarded throughout the year.
Consumers who log onto GSN's Web site (http://www.gameshownetwork.com/index.html
) to play one of the seven interactive
sync-to-broadcast games (from Cram to Lingo to Wintuition)
will automatically be entered for a chance to win.
Since last January, viewers have played along with GSN shows about 5.2 million times, according to senior vice president of marketing Dena Kaplan.
Burger King Corp., Dr Pepper/Seven Up Inc.'s Diet Dr Pepper, Discover Card,
General Motors Corp.'s Saturn and Greyhound Lines are among the accounts that
have signed as sponsors of the yearlong promotion, GSN senior VP of ad sales
Michael Sakin said.
