GSN Sets WinTuition Talent-Search Tour

Game Show Network announced Tuesday the Sept. 9 kickoff for its national
talent search for children aged seven through 12 to appear as 'Answer Kids' on
its new primetime WinTuition game show.

The new series, hosted by Marc Summers, is due to premiere Dec. 9 as a
knowledge-based show that tests contestants' 'general education smarts, from
first grade through college,' the network said.

The winner gets $50,000 toward his or her college tuition.

The Answer Kid will act as Summers' sidekick on each episode, offering
answers to the toughest questions.

The live talent auditions will be staged in five markets in conjunction with
cable affiliates.

The first Sept. 9 will be in Culver City, Calif., with AT&T Broadband
co-hosting with GSN. That will be followed by stops in Long Beach, Calif.,
Sept.10 (with Charter Communications Inc.); St. Louis Sept. 17 (Charter);
Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 18 (Comcast Corp.); and Indianapolis Sept. 20
(Comcast).
