General Fiber Communications Inc. announced Friday that it has donated $5,000 to the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers/Cable Center Third Millennium Fund.
The donation will help to fund the SCTE Showcase in the Technology Museum at the Cable Center, a permanent exhibit highlighting the ongoing contributions of engineers to the cable industry. It will also be used to ensure continued development of the center’s technology archive.
