General Fiber Communications Inc. said Monday that it has acquired BNC Communications.
The transaction boosted GFC to the No. 1 market share in the broadband-fulfillment sector in the Denver area, the company added.
“As we integrate BNC Communications into GFC, we plan to simultaneously execute a strategy to increase our share of the Denver market by 50%,” GFC executive vice president of business development Joe McGinley said in a prepared statement.
BNC founder Brett Evans will assume the title of project manager for GFC’s Denver market.
