Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc. named former National Cable & Telecommunications Association vice president of congressional affairs Steve Vest VP of government affairs.
Vest -- who worked in News Corp.’s government-affairs office before joining the NCTA in 2000 -- will report to executive VP of communications, marketing and government affairs Chris Levesque.
