Galavision To Premiere Reality-Makeover Show

Galavision, the nation’s largest Spanish-language cable network, this week will premiere Moda al Rescate (Fashion to the Rescue), a weekly reality-makeover show focusing on “style-challenged” real people, who undergo a makeover after having experienced a life-changing event, such as first-time motherhood or starting a new job, according to the network.
Moda, which premieres Thursday Feb. 7 (10 p.m. ET/PT) will be hosted by actress/model Dayana Garroz and two fashionistas, Daniel Lombarda and JR Martínez, who will offer wardrobe advice and style tips.

As has been the case with these types of fashion reality shows, there will be product integration aplenty. Initial sponsors include Saturn, which will feature an all new 2008 VUE in every episode, as well as Maybelline New York and Garnier, who provided the make-up and hair products used in each makeover. Each episode of Moda al Rescate will receive encore presentations every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. ET/PT.
