Galavisión Revamps Lineup

Univision Communications Inc. said Monday that it would introduce an expanded
lineup of first-run Spanish-language programming for its Galavisión cable
network starting Monday, April 29.

The company hopes the new programming will help Galavisión to attract
Hispanic cable viewers away from English-language networks.

In addition to showing more international sports programming, Galavisión
plans to introduce talk, variety and news shows, scheduled to counterprogram
against the Spanish broadcast networks.

On weekday mornings, Galavisión will air a live morning news show, Primero
Noticias
, featuring news and finance from Latin America and around the
world.

The news broadcast will be followed later in the morning by a live talk show
called Hoy and a variety show, Vida TV, in the afternoon.

Weekday evenings will feature more news and sports, while weekends will focus
more heavily on sports.

Beginning May 31, Galavisión will also participate in the company's coverage
of the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
