Former top Fox Family Worldwide Inc. executives Mel Woods and Shuki Levy
filed an $84 million fraud suit against News Corp.
According to City News Service, the suit alleged that News Corp. saddled Fox
Family with money-losing Major League Baseball games and insisted that The Walt
Disney Co. take over its MLB deal as part of a deal to buy Fox Family Channel
(now ABC Family), even though Disney said it would pay $400 million less for the
network if it was forced to take the MLB games.
