With little fanfare, Fox Cable Networks Group’s Fuel extreme-sports network
launched Monday on DirecTV Inc., where it’s available on the direct-broadcast
satellite provider’s "Sports Pack" and "Total Choice Plus" packages.
Fuel has announced deals with Time Warner Cable and Cable One Inc., but it’s
not clear which cable systems may have rolled it out.
Targeting males 12-24, the network will feature skateboarding, surfing, BMX,
