Fox Entertainment Group Inc. and Yahoo! Inc. announced the addition of Fox
Broadcasting Co. and FX to their previous online promotional relationship
Thursday.
The earlier agreement involved advertising theatrical releases from Fox
Filmed Entertainment.
FX's returning primetime series The Shield and original movie The
Pentagon Papers, due in December, will be among the first scheduled for
promotion via Yahoo!.
Fox's new-for-fall series Firefly and John Doe, as well as
returnees 24 (repurposed on FX) and The Bernie Mac Show, will also
be promoted on Yahoo!.
X Men 2, Daredevil, Solaris and The League of
Extraordinary Gentlemen are among Fox motion pictures that will be promoted
via the Internet portal, the companies said.
