Former Comcast General Counsel Dies In Bike Accident

Former Comcast general counsel Stanley Wang, 67, was struck and killed by a passing motorist Thursday as he was bicycling through his hometown of Moorestown, N.J.

According to a report in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Wang was cycling down Main Street at 12:20 p.m. Thursday when the driver of a parked pick-up truck opened his car door, clipping Wang’s bicycle and knocking him onto the street.

Wang was then hit by a passing car driven by 19-year-old Kellie Gifford. He was taken to Kennedy Memorial Hospital in nearby Cherry Hill, N.J. where he was pronounced dead at 1:08 p.m., according to the newspaper report.
