FNC Tops CNN in Primetime

Fox News Channel beat Cable News Network for the first time in a weekly
ratings period since the Sept. 11 attacks.

FNC pulled a 1.3 Nielsen Media Research Rating primetime rating and 967,000
households for the week ended Nov. 4, topping CNN's 1.1 rating and 971,000
households.

MSNBC placed third with a 0.6 rating and 452,000 households.

CNN and FNC tied in the total-day category, each with a 0.9 rating.

CNN, which counts 11 million more subscribers than FNC, pulled 765,000
households compared with 641,000 for FNC when gauged over the 24-hour
measurement.

MSNBC placed third with a 0.4 rating and 317,000
households.
