Fitzgerald Adds Livewire Acting Post

Liberty Livewire Corp., the television- and film-postproduction arm of
Liberty Media Corp., has named chairman William Fitzgerald as acting CEO,
replacing Robert Walston, who resigned to pursue other interests.

The position will be in addition to Fitzgerald's duties as chairman, and it
will expand his involvement in the strategic direction and daily operations of
Liberty Livewire for the foreseeable future, Liberty said in a prepared
statement Monday.

Fitzgerald will assume Walston's duties immediately. Liberty said it would
name a replacement for Walston's seat on the board of directors at a later
time.

Fitzgerald has served as chairman of Liberty Livewire since August 2000, and
he also serves as senior vice president of Liberty Media.

Before joining Liberty, Fitzgerald was executive VP and chief operating
officer at AT&T Broadband. Prior to AT&T Broadband, he spent several
years at its predecessor, Tele-Communications Inc., in various positions,
including COO of video operations and executive VP of corporate development.

'Over the course of the past year, Livewire's management team has been
focused on integrating the many acquired companies that served to establish this
company in order to create the scaled media-services platform intended,'
Fitzgerald said in a prepared statement.

'We are very excited about the opportunities this unique services platform
will provide the entertainment community, and we are anxious to pursue an effort
to raise the awareness of Liberty Livewire and the value it brings to content
creators and providers,' he added.
