Redwood City, Calif.-Excite@Home Corp. plans to announce a new short-form video-on-demand service today (June 26) showcased under the name "ClickVideo."
The broadband online provider has created a virtual video jockey named "Bailey" to lead subscribers through the free video content, which will include news, cartoons, television clips, sports, film shorts and music videos from content providers ranging from Comedy Central and Showtime Networks Inc.'s SHO.com to Fox Video News and Bloomberg L.P.
Subscribers won't pay an additional fee for the on-demand content.
