Roger Sverdlik, who left Comcast Cable Communications Inc. last fall as
senior vice president of ad sales, has joined TelAmerica Media Inc. as executive
VP.
Philadelphia-based Sverdlik will oversee strategy and national ad sales for
TelAmerica's Cable Connect and Ad Max divisions.
The former offers avails in a cooperative of 10 major cable companies
reaching 60 million subscribers, while Ad Max offers avails in 310
broadcast-television stations in the top 100 DMAs.
Sverdlik -- who was executive VP with ABC Television Network prior to joining
Comcast -- will manage TelAmerica's sales offices in Philadelphia and New York,
as well as forthcoming offices in Chicago, Los Angeles and Detroit, TelAmerica
CEO Lance Funston said.
