ESPN STAR Sports Orders Tektronix Gear

ESPN STAR Sports has ordered Tektronix Inc.’s “WVR600 Series Rasterizers,” the vendor said Wednesday.

A joint venture between ESPN and STAR, Asia’s No.1 sports broadcaster will use the WVR600 Series to monitor analog- and digital-video and audio signals and obtain the highest quality in a value-priced package.

“With these new, all-digital wave-form monitors from Tektronix, ESPN STAR Sports will be able to monitor video-signal information with unparalleled accuracy and clarity and deliver the highest level of signal quality to their viewers across the region,” Tektronix marketing director, Asia-Pacific region James Alderton said in a prepared statement.
